Crane in Strange Places

Tony’s new idea is for all of us to do Crane in Strange Places! This is the Crane yoga move where one balances oneself only on two (2) hands.  It is in P90X’s Yoga X and took me months to be able to hold this position for more than a nano second.  Now, after practicing it, I’m able to hold it for a while – at least long enough for a couple of photos to be taken in strange places.

During the Ripped and Ready tour, we wanted to get shots of all of us doing the Crane in unique locations.  We started in Naples and had half the day off before we needed to get to the airport.  We headed down the Amalfi Coast to Positano.
On our way, we came across this spot. The view was perfect, so we jumped out of the car to take a shot:

We zipped over to Pompeii and frankly; we did not do the place justice owing to our time constraints.  However, we did get a chance to do Crane in a couple of strange & unique places:

(Note some of our follow tourists snapping shots of us.)

Here we are at Ramstein AFB w/ Rob, Bill, Jeremy and Mark.  Great form!

We are in Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo today and met some of our bravest warriors. Our Army friends welcomed us with open arms.  This is an outstanding group stationed in Camp Bondsteel and they Brought It to Tony’s workouts.  Between workouts we got a tour of the camp.  We visited the hospital where TFA KFOR 14 gave us a great briefing on what they do.  They are the ones that go into the hot zone to get our wounded out and treat them.  A terrific group of true professionals and great men and women.  Here is Crane in front of their Blackhawk:

I just like this shot of the KFOR 14 Aircrew.  I am with the 'Doc'.

We are being contacted by email and Facebook and told that we have already started a trend. Hhmmm, that was never our intent, but we’ll take it!  If you have shots of doing Crane in Strange Places, please go to my Facebook page Bill Bonde and post them!   I will create a Crane in Strange Places page later.
